Education at NPS does not end with the classroom sessions. The School also has a well-defined character building and scientifically managed programme which includes a wide range of special activities such as sports, music, art, drama and dance.

Regular field-trips are also part of this program.

Children are divided into small groups (recognised as Houses) to develop both team and competitive spirit in all the activities. Each House will have a Captain and Vice-Captain chosen democratically by the team members. All students will have to take part in games and sports. Skating

The very art of skating is skillful and is tough to master. As a credit to the children and the school we were offered a chance to organize the district championship for skating in our school and many of our students participated in the same and won prizes.

Special Activities

We are proud to say we have a wide array of special activities conducted in our school. Few activities are as follows: Drums, Western Dance, Skating, Silambam, Karate, Gymnastics Etc. These activities are allowed for the children in the first few hrs so the children gets rejuvenated and can concentrate more in studies. This technique has worked a lot in terms of academic improvements.

Junior Red Cross

Scout and Guides activity is another service activity our students are exposed to. The service activity is also extended as Bunny activity in Kindergarten classes, Cubs & Bulbuls in primary classes, Rangers & Rovers for senior secondary classes. The students are regularly taken out to participate in various selection camps including Rajyapuraskar and Rashtrapathi Puraskar camps.

Outdoor Activities

School also offers a range of Educational Tours and Outdoor day trips that possibly encourages and educates the students to explore and think differently.
