Education at NPS does not end with the classroom sessions. The School also has a well-defined character building and scientifically managed programme which includes a wide range of special activities such as sports, music, art, drama and dance.
Regular field-trips are also part of this program.
Children are divided into small groups (recognised as Houses) to develop both team and competitive spirit in all the activities. Each House will have a Captain and Vice-Captain chosen democratically by the team members. All students will have to take part in games and sports. The School will also participate in competitions besides hosting internal house competitions. Related Activities in this area include:
Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at our campus on June 21, 2024. The event aimed to promote physical and mental well-being among students through the practice of yoga. Students from Classes 1 to 12 actively participated in the event, engaging in various yoga asanas guided by Yoga master Mr. Saravanakumar.

The very art of skating is skillful and is tough to master. As a credit to the children and the school we were offered a chance to organize the district championship for skating in our school and many of our students participated in the same and won prizes.
We are proud to say we have a wide array of special activities conducted in our school. Few activities are as follows: Drums, Western Dance, Skating, Silambam, Karate, Gymnastics Etc. These activities are allowed for the children in the first few hrs so the children gets rejuvenated and can concentrate more in studies. This technique has worked a lot in terms of academic improvements.
As the time changes even the education system changes. One of the commendable changes happened to improve the quality and interest among the children to learn is this program. Here children learn while they play
School also offers a range of Educational Tours and Outdoor day trips that possibly encourages and educates the students to explore and think differently. It is also believed that travelling outdoor helps in personality development and to uncover the students' traits that may sometime remain hidden in the classroom.
The School has a dedicated Sports and Physical Education Faculty to train every student in an activity of his/her choice.
Transcendental Meditation founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogiji Lectures, Counselling, Conversation Session, Science of Creative Intelligence Class, Yogasanas, Pranayama and Group Discussions Guru Pooja and Group Bhajans are conducted every Thursday
The medium of instructions at NNPS is English and it is the First Language at all levels. The Academic year begins in April and ends in March.
